Job Descriptions:
Medical Assistantance in a high volume, health clinic housing Pediatricians, Cardiologist,Internists and a Dermatologist.
Participate in office medical procedures independently and under the supervision of physicians; blood drawing, EKGs, vital signs, ear irrigation, hematicrits and vaccinations.
Take patient histories and maintained medical records
Train newly hired medical assistants in all office procedures.
Serve on the Triage team – Handled asthmatics and first aid.
Perform EKG’s, Hearing and Vision test.
Update medical records and obtained lab reports.
Order supplies, equipment and maintained inventory.
Certification: Registered Medical Technologist Certification,Medical Assistant Certification,Certification of 40 hrs OSHA Site Safety and Health Hazards.
